24 Hours Of Goodness

I've had so much going on that I've neglected to put detailed information and writing here lately, and I've had a lot of good stuff too. So, I'm going to cram it all into a short post and then elaborate later.

The past 24 hours have been very good. Last night I spoke at length with the woman I've been forming a relationship with. The connection between us was obvious from early on and things have progressed quickly and pleasantly from that point. The feelings are all there. Things are even better than I could have hoped. I don't usually have difficulty with words, but she's hard to describe without leaving so much out. Just absolutely wonderful. It's remarkable, neither of us is the type to rush into things or make rash decisions at all, but that hasn't stopped things from developing very quickly. I've been considering different places where I might end up when I move for awhile. Last night we discussed the possibility of my moving out to Milwaukee to be closer to her. Ordinarily I would never even mention something like that this soon (chronologically speaking, it's only been around a month), but it was absolutely no issue at all. As I recall, she actually brought it up first. It's really cool when you find out that the person you're into has their head in the same place as you when it comes to stuff like that. It's still just talk for now, and I may still end up in several other cities, but at least it's an option worth exploring now that I know how she feels about it. I'm going to be in Phoenix, Arizona in just under two weeks to see her. Can't wait.

Another good thing that happened today was that I got to eat sushi with some friends. I'm still full. I accidentally ordered something gross (salmon eggs) and the waitress was a bitch, but that didn't diminish the fun of the meal or the quality of the food (aside from the aforementioned salmon eggs). I'm really happy about all the opportunities I've been presented with recently and I'm also happy because some of my friends have similar opportunities themselves. Still, the thought of us all living so far away from each other makes it a touch bittersweet. So, I really appreciate when we have these chances to hang out and spend time together lately. Very cool.

Today I got word that a good friend also completed a triathelon that she has been in training for. More good news! So, here's a shout out to her on a job well done! Congratulations!

Finally, today I found out that I don't have AIDS. I figured as much, but damnit...How can it NOT be a great day when you find out you don't have AIDS?

WOOT for not having AIDS!

More later...
